Hilmar Ehlert

Hilmar Ehlert has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Hilmar is currently working as the Head of Development Emerging Technologies CH at SHL Medical, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of Innovation & Product Lifecycle Management at CODAN ARGUS AG from November 2022 to September 2023. Before that, they worked as an Independent Consultant / CTO from February 2022 to November 2022.

Hilmar's earlier experience includes roles at Medela AG - Business Unit Healthcare, where they served as the Vice President R&D Healthcare and was a member of the Executive Leadership team from September 2007 to January 2022. Hilmar also held the position of Business Unit Leader Management Consulting at ERNI AG from November 2006 to July 2007.

Their extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles can be seen from their time at Komax Systems AG, where they served as the Vice President Engineering and was a member of the Executive Board from January 2006 to August 2006. Hilmar held multiple roles within the engineering department at Komax Systems AG from October 1993 to August 2003.

Hilmar also has entrepreneurial experience as the Owner / CEO of e!solution engineering from June 1998 to May 2003. In their early career, they worked as an Electronic Expert at RUAG Aviation from September 1988 to July 1990.

Hilmar Ehlert has a diverse education history. Hilmar began their educational journey in 1990 by earning a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Microprocessor Programming, from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Hilmar then pursued further studies in the field of computer software engineering and obtained a degree of Software Engineer FH NDS from the same institution in 1997.

Expanding their knowledge beyond computer-related fields, Ehlert attended Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences Switzerland from 2000 to 2002, where they earned a degree in Business Engineering FH NDS with a focus on Marketing and Sales.

Ehlert's education also encompasses the realms of economics and business management. From 2012 to 2014, they attended the University of St.Gallen, where they completed an EMBA (Executive Master of Business Administration) program in General Management.

Throughout their education, Ehlert has demonstrated a commitment to acquiring a diverse skill set across various fields, including electrical engineering, computer software engineering, marketing and sales, and general management.
