Sebastian Ritscher

Sebastian Ritscher has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sebastian started their career as a Student Apprentice at Robotron Datenbank-Software GmbH in 2000 and then worked as a Senior Consultant at Steria Mummert Consulting AG from 2002 to 2006. Sebastian then moved on to the Merck Group, where they worked as a Project Coordinator from 2007 to 2007. After that, they joined Trelleborg Sealing Solutions as a Technical Solutions Architect, responsible for designing and implementing web services and web-based business solutions. In 2011, they joined Scandinavian Health Ltd. (SHL) as an IT Assistant Manager and worked their way up to Senior IT Manager from 2018 to 2019. Sebastian then transitioned to the role of IS Director at SHL Medical, where they were responsible for the IT infrastructure and information systems strategy of the SHL Group. Currently, they serve as the Head of Corporate ICT and Information Security at SHL Medical, overseeing the ICT team and leading the development and implementation of IT infrastructure strategies and information security measures.

Sebastian Ritscher completed their education in a chronological order. Sebastian attended Johann-Andreas-Schubert High School from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained their High School diploma. Afterward, from 1998 to 2002, they attended Hochschule Zittau/Görlitz (FH), where they pursued a degree in Computer Science, specifically a Diplom-Informatiker (FH) degree. In 2006 and 2007, they participated in the Heinz-Nixdorf-Program for Advance of Asian / Pacific Experiences of Young German Management Trainees, offered by the Heinz Nixdorf Foundation. During this program, they did not obtain a specific degree. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from ITIL® Foundation in May 2014.
