Jan Harbaugh

Jan Harbaugh, Ph.D., is an accomplished Managing Consultant at SHL since 2016, leading complex talent assessment projects and coaching fellow consultants. As Principal at JLH Consulting, Jan partners with clients to develop tailored assessment solutions. Previous roles include Senior Consultant at CEB and Talent Assessment Consultant at Target, where foundational research and job analysis efforts were pivotal in shaping enterprise talent management strategies. Jan's earlier experience encompasses senior consulting at Valtera Corporation, where responsibilities included account management and team development, as well as academic research roles that supported assessment needs through job analysis methodologies. Jan holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Purdue University, complemented by a Master’s Degree from the same institution and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Psychology and Mathematics from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
