Wamiq Bashir

Wamiq Bashir has extensive work experience in various senior-level roles within the technology and consulting industry. Wamiq is currently serving as the Senior Vice President Delivery at SHL, a position they have held since July 2023. Prior to this, they were the Senior Director of Digital Service Design at SHL from May 2021 to August 2023.

Before joining SHL, Wamiq worked at Tecknuovo as the Head of Delivery from September 2020 to May 2021. Wamiq also held multiple roles at Valtech, including Managing Principal from September 2018 to September 2020, Principal Consultant from July 2013 to September 2020, and Senior Consultant from November 2010 to June 2013.

Their previous experiences include serving as a Valtech Delivery Manager at Civil Service Resourcing within the Civil Service Fast Stream from October 2015 to July 2018. Wamiq also worked as a Valtech Engagement Manager & Technical Architect NHS111 Digital at the NHS from February 2015 to September 2015.

Wamiq has also worked as a Valtech Enterprise Architect at The Home Office from August 2013 to January 2015, a Valtech Technical Architect at the NHS Information Centre from January 2012 to June 2013, and a Valtech Enterprise Architect at Flightglobal from March 2011 to September 2011. Wamiq started their career at GlaxoSmithKline, where they worked as a Solutions Architect from February 2002 to August 2010.

Wamiq Bashir attended Leeds Beckett University from 1997 to 1998, where they obtained a Master's degree in Software Engineering. Wamiq also holds a certification as a TOGAF 9.0 Certified Architect from The Open Group.
