Yin Lin

Yin Lin has extensive work experience in research and statistics. From 2011 onwards, Yin Lin worked at SHL, starting as a Psychometrician and progressing to roles such as Senior Research Scientist and Managing Research Scientist. In these positions, Yin Lin was responsible for leading innovative projects and developing testing systems. Prior to joining SHL, Yin Lin worked at the National Foundation for Educational Research as a Statistician, collaborating with research teams, providing statistical analysis, and developing tools to improve efficiency. Yin Lin also has publications in the field.

Yin Lin pursued their education at the University of Cambridge from 2004 to 2007, obtaining a MA degree in Mathematics. Yin then attended the University of Oxford from 2007 to 2008, completing a MSc in Applied Statistics. Yin returned to education in 2014 and completed their PhD in Psychology/Psychometrics at the University of Kent in 2020.
