Ron Marlin has a diverse work experience spanning various engineering and construction roles. Ron started their career as a Construction Inspector Assistant at the Missouri Highway and Transportation Department in 1984. Ron then worked as a Draftsman at Hood-Rich Architecture in 1985 before transitioning to the role of Highway Designer at the Missouri Highway and Transportation Department. In 1986, Ron became a Staff Engineer at Carson-Mitchell Engineers-Builders, where they performed structural design and cost estimation for construction projects. From 1989 to 1991, they worked as an Engineering Associate at McLaren/Hart Environmental Engineering, where they prepared project proposals and supervised project teams for Superfund contamination sites. In 1991, Ron joined Sho-Me Power as the Director of Transmission Design and Construction Engineering, where they were responsible for managing the design and construction of transmission lines, buildings, and other facilities.
