Enrique Saborio

Enrique Saborio has a strong background in operations and management, with experience in various companies. Enrique recently joined Shockwave Medical as the General Manager/VP Operations in Costa Rica. Prior to this, they worked at TE Connectivity as the General Manager for four years. Before TE Connectivity, they spent a significant amount of time at Boston Scientific, where they held roles such as Engineering Director and Production & Facilities Director. Their responsibilities at Boston Scientific included overseeing manufacturing engineering processes, maintenance, production equipment fabrication, and site facilities. Additionally, they were in charge of production operations at the Coyol site, which involved managing a large workforce, production codes compliance, clean room operations, and achieving high production volumes. Earlier in their career, they worked at Intel Corporation as a Manufacturing Integration Manager, responsible for factory execution and coordination of activities involving a large team and multiple products.

Enrique Saborio holds a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Colorado State University, which they completed from 1992 to 1994. Prior to that, they obtained a Licenciatura in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) from 1984 to 1990. Enrique also holds a certification in Leading & Managing Globally from Yale School of Management.
