Rebecca Rodenkirch has a diverse work experience in the medical device industry. Rebecca started their career at the University of Minnesota as a Peer Mentor/Tutor and later became an Undergraduate Research Assistant, focusing on studying epilepsy. Rebecca then joined Vascular Solutions as an Associate Engineer, where they gained experience in R&D, Process Development, Production, and Quality. Rebecca continued to grow in this field and worked at Vascular Solutions - Now part of Teleflex as a Principal Design Assurance Engineer, overseeing the design assurance work on interventional cardiology/radiology devices. After that, they joined Caisson Interventional LLC as a Senior Quality Engineer. Rebecca then moved to Antares Pharma Inc. and took on the role of Design Assurance Engineering Manager. At Halozyme, Inc., Rebecca held two roles, first as a Design Assurance Engineering Manager, and then as an Associate Director, Quality Engineering, where they led and managed all device quality aspects of autoinjector combination products. Currently, they are a Principal Quality Engineer at Shockwave Medical. Throughout their career, Rebecca has gained experience in various aspects of quality engineering, operations, validation engineering, and design assurance. Rebecca also has experience in managing teams and overseeing the quality system integration projects.
Rebecca Rodenkirch completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Minnesota from 2008 to 2012. Rebecca also obtained certifications such as "ISO 13485:2016 Lead Auditor" from BSI in 2019 and "15 Secrets Successful People Know about Time Management (getAbstract Summary)" as well as "The Five Conversations That Deliver Accountability and Performance" from LinkedIn, both in 2023.
