Erick Umanchuk

Erick Umanchuk has worked in various roles since 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as an Android Developer and Product Manager at Socialmedios Incorporated. Erick'sresponsibilities included developing Android apps based on Java, MVC, Volley, XML, and developing APIs in Python, as well as analyzing social media products and collecting information. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at Virtual Office Group C.A. as a Backend Developer, managing databases in SQL Server 2012, modifying Microsoft Dynamics GP systems, programming in Visual Basic .NET, and modifying and creating administrative reports for Dynamics GP. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at Amplexcorp, C.A. as a FullStack and Android Developer, developing web sites and API Rests based on Symfony, PHP, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery, and MySQL. Erick also developed Android apps based on Java, MVC, Retrofit/Volley, XML, and Recyclerview. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at ShokWorks, Inc. as an IT Project Manager and Android Team Leader. Erick'sresponsibilities included Scrum, planning, estimation, and coordination of project activities, as well as developing Android apps based on Java, MVP, Retrofit, Dagger, Dependency Injection, Butterknife, XML, and Recyclerview. Erick then moved to TwoWay Sports in 2019, where they worked as an IT Project Manager and Android Developer. Erick'sresponsibilities included Scrum, planning, estimation, and coordination of project activities, as well as developing Android apps based on Java, MVP, Retrofit, Dagger, Dependency Injection, Butterknife, XML, and Recyclerview. In 2019, they returned to ShokWorks, Inc. as the PMO Director.

Erick Umanchuk obtained an Ingeniero en Sistemas degree from the Universidad Nacional Experimental Politécnica de la Fuerza Armada between 2009 and 2017, with a focus on Aplicaciones, Gerencia de proyectos, Programación, and Base de datos. Erick has also obtained several certifications, including Liderazgo from the Fundación Carlos Slim in 2023, EF SET Score - English C1 Advanced from the EF Standard English Test (EF SET) in 2022, Disciplina en el trabajo from the Fundación Carlos Slim in 2021, Técnico en Business Analytics from the Fundación Carlos Slim in 2021, Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC) – (Spanish) from CertiProf in 2020, Salud Digital from the Fundación Carlos Slim in 2020, Gobernanza TI from the Fundación Carlos Slim in 2020, and Adventures in Web Animations from Code School.
