Alykhan Kara

Alykhan Kara has accumulated diverse work experience in various industries. Alykhan founded their own company, Shomigo, in 2020. In 2021, they worked as a Consultant at Deloitte Canada and as a LOI Batch 6 at LOI - League of Innovators. Alykhan also participated in the Next 36 program at NEXT Canada from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Capital Markets Internal Audit Intern at CIBC in 2019 and as a Software Engineer Intern at Furnishr in 2018. Alykhan worked as a Sales Associate at Bay College Optometric Center in 2017, an Advancement Intern at Upper Canada College in 2016, and a Shad Fellow at the SHAD Network in 2015.

Alykhan Kara is currently pursuing an Honors in Business Administration at Ivey Business School at Western University, with an expected completion year in 2022. Previously, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Software Engineering from Western University in 2022. Before attending university, Alykhan attended Upper Canada College from 2009 to 2016, where they obtained an IB Diploma and Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
