Thomas J. Sullivan

Thomas J. Sullivan serves as the Managing Partner in Boston at Shook, Hardy & Bacon L.L.P. since March 2018, and holds licenses to practice law in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey. Prior to this role, Thomas worked as a Litigation Partner and Trial Counsel at Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP from October 2003 to March 2018, and gained experience as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Anita B. Brody at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania from September 2002 to August 2003, where duties included research, drafting opinions, and assisting with trials and hearings. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD), cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania Law School & Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa in Philosophy from the College of the Holy Cross, along with a master’s degree with distinction in Moral and Political Philosophy from the University of Reading.
