Corporate Principal Associate at Shoosmiths

Emma Livesey has a significant amount of experience in the legal field. Emma began their career as a Paralegal at Shoosmiths in June 2011 and then moved on to become a Trainee Solicitor from September 2011 to September 2013. Following this, they worked as a Corporate Solicitor from September 2013 to March 2017. Emma then advanced to the position of Corporate Associate at Shoosmiths from March 2017 to May 2019, before taking on the role of Corporate Senior Associate from May 2019 to May 2020. Emma is currently working as a Corporate Principal Associate at Shoosmiths, starting in May 2020.

Additionally, Emma had a 6-month secondment at Dukes Education from January 2023 to June 2023, where they served as Legal Counsel. This opportunity allowed their to gain experience as an in-house lawyer, managing and coordinating UK and international transactions in countries such as Switzerland, Ireland, and Portugal.

Emma Livesey's education history begins with their attendance at Dereham Northgate High School from 1999 to 2004. Emma then went on to Dereham Sixth Form College from 2004 to 2006. After that, Emma attended the University of Reading from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. In 2009 to 2010, they enrolled at The College of Law to pursue a Legal Practice Course (LPC).
