James Speed

James Speed is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Commercial Real Estate Partner at Shoosmiths LLP since November 2023. With extensive experience in the field, James previously held the position of Commercial Real Estate/Property Partner at DWF LLP from February 2013 to November 2023, and at Cobbetts LLP from September 2012 to February 2013. James began a prominent legal career at Pinsent Masons as a Commercial Property Senior Associate from January 2003 to September 2012, after working as a Solicitor at Jones Day between September 1997 and September 2002. James holds a BA and MA in Law from Downing College, Cambridge, where education was completed from 1993 to 1996, following earlier studies at Oldham Hulme Grammar School between 1985 and 1992.
