Tom Speller is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the banking and finance sector. Currently serving as the Head of Shoosmiths Eight (Connected Services) since December 2023, Tom previously held significant roles at Barclays Corporate & Investment Bank, including Head of Securitisation Services and Global Head of Escrow from November 2018 to December 2023. Prior to Barclays, Tom was a Director and Associate Director at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. from April 2017 to November 2018, and a Banking Lawyer at Norton Rose Fulbright from September 2011 to April 2017. Tom also gained in-house legal experience while seconded to Citi as part of the Norton Rose Fulbright team in 2016-2017. Tom has a Graduate Diploma in Law and a Legal Practice Course from BPP Law School, and holds a degree in Geography from Durham University. Early education includes studies at Sherborne School and Woodcote House.
