Dr. Brittany Persaud

Dr. Brittany Persaud has a diverse work experience. Dr. Brittany currently serves as a Project Manager at Shoot 360, a basketball training gym. Dr. Brittany is responsible for implementing advanced technologies to help individual players reach their maximum potential. Dr. Persaud is also the Founder CEO of Mindspire Consulting, where they provide mindset performance consulting and coaching services.

Prior to their current roles, Dr. Persaud worked at Isostatic Pressing Services as a Project & Ops Manager. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in designing programs to meet federal compliance standards and avoid potential fines. Dr. Brittany also identified significant cost savings and reduced expenses through contract renegotiation.

Dr. Persaud has also contributed to the sports industry. Dr. Brittany served as staff for the Guyana U-20 Women's National Team and the Guyana Women's National Football Team. Dr. Brittany played in World Cup and Olympic Qualifiers, helping their teams compete in the CONCACAF tournament.

Furthermore, Dr. Persaud has volunteered as a soccer coach at Westside Timbers and worked as an intern and sports performance coach at the University of Louisville. In addition, they have professional soccer player experience, having played for Dayton Dutch Lions, Reiger Boys, and SC Telstar.

Dr. Brittany Persaud obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences-Exercise Science from Wright State University in the field of Kinesiology and Exercise Science, completing the program from 2009 to 2012. Dr. Brittany then pursued their Master of Science degree in Human Movement Sciences (Sport/Sport Psychology) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2013 to 2015.

In 2016, Dr. Persaud obtained their PFSA Level 1 Talent Identification in Football certification from the Professional Football Scouts Association (PFSA). Dr. Brittany furthered their education by completing their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Sport and Performance Psychology at the University of Western States from 2016 to 2021.

Dr. Persaud recently acquired additional certifications in the field of software product management. Dr. Brittany obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from the Scrum Alliance in August 2022 and the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification, also from the Scrum Alliance, in June 2022. Additionally, they pursued a Coursera specialization in Software Product Management from the University of Alberta starting in 2022.
