John Gulliford Aia

John Gulliford AIA is a seasoned architect and project director at SHoP Architects, with a professional tenure beginning in September 2011. Previously, John served as a visiting assistant professor at Pratt Institute, where involvement included the Morphology Research Studio from January 2014 to May 2022. Additionally, John has held roles at SHoP Construction Services LLC as a VDC manager and at Urban A&O LLC as a senior design associate, leading a computational design research group focused on parametric modeling technologies. Early career experiences include positions as a research assistant and designer at various prestigious firms and research centers, including the Center for Experimental Structures and Eisenman Architects. John holds both a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Architecture from Stevens Institute of Technology and Pratt Institute, respectively.
