John Paul Rysavy is a highly experienced architectural professional, currently serving as Project Director at SHoP Architects since 2014. Previously, Rysavy held a lecturer position at The University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture from 2012 to 2014, and worked as a Design Associate at David Heymann Architect from 2011 to 2014. Additional experience includes roles as a resident at the Glenn Murcutt Master Class, designer positions at Will Bruder Architects, Mathias Klotz Arquitectos, and HOK, as well as serving in the Ghost Laboratory at MacKay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects in 2009. Rysavy's education includes a Master of Architecture from The University of Texas at Austin, a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and participation in the Architectural Association's Visiting School, along with completion of the altMBA program.
