Hui Shien Yap

Hui Shien Yap is a Talent Acquisition Business Partner at ShopBack. Hui has over three years of experience in talent acquisition and has previously worked at Global Enterprise International Malaysia (a member of the Singtel Group).

Hui Shien is responsible for ensuring that the end-to-end hiring process meets the agreed service levels and timelines. Hui also liaises and works closely with all members of the HR team to develop and apply appropriate talent acquisition strategies. Other responsibilities include conducting effective and comprehensive hiring intake reviews with hiring managers, sourcing and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline, and developing competitive compensation packages.

In their previous role, Hui Shien was also responsible for initiating and carrying out boarding activity and induction programs for new joiners, as well as coordinating interviews between Hiring Managers, candidates, Recruiters and other stakeholders. Hui has a strong understanding of local rules and regulations related to hiring and recruiting, and is experienced in managing end-to-end permit and immigration activities.

Hui Shien Yap attended HELP University, where they earned a degree in psychology.
