Danyi Yang

Danyi Yang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in commercial strategy and consulting. Currently serving in the COO Office at Shopee since March 2022, Danyi previously held significant roles at L.E.K. Consulting as a Strategy Consultant and as Practice Leader for Asia-Pacific at Frontier Strategy Group. Earlier experience includes working as an Assistant to the Global Managing Director at Alibaba Group and as a Senior Analyst at Frontier Strategy Group. Danyi's expertise was further developed through research internships at The Chicago Council on Global Affairs and The Brookings Institution, along with a political affairs position at the United Nations. Danyi holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago and has completed a fellowship at the Hoover Institution. An undergraduate degree in International Trade and Economics was earned from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, complemented by a college exchange program in International Business at I-Shou University.
