David Chen serves as the chief product officer of Shopee. He was formerly group chief of staff for SEA, a position he held from January 2017 to December 2019. Prior to that, David served as the group chief operating officer from SEA's inception in May 2009 to December 2016. He previously held positions at PSA Corporation Limited. David holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering with first class honors from the National University of Singapore.
