Rahmat Ismail

Rahmat Ismail is an experienced software engineer currently serving as an Engineer Manager and Expert Software Engineer at Shopee since August 2022, focusing on the Gamification and Platform team. Responsibilities include overseeing the Backend domain for the Games product line and leading frontend and backend teams. Prior roles at Shopee involved backend microservices as a Tech Lead and Engineer. Prior to Shopee, Rahmat held various positions at Tokopedia from August 2016 to May 2022, contributing significantly to the development of several microservices and core systems. Experience also includes a Technical Lead position at tiket.com and a member role at AIRLab Universitas Sriwijaya, along with earlier volunteer work and as a Junior Software Developer for the 17th ASEAN University Games.
