Wei Zhou

Wei Zhou is an experienced QA Lead/Manager currently leading a QA team in the Recommendation product line at Shopee Singapore since December 2019. Prior to this role, Wei Zhou served as Quality Assurance Manager at NetEase, overseeing a team of over 10 QA Engineers focused on testing a news recommendation system. Wei Zhou's career includes positions as a PHD Candidate in Research on Methodology, Senior Software Test Engineer at UCWeb Inc. where new testing techniques and automated tools were developed, Software Test Lead at Vancl.com managing a team in ChengDu, and Senior Test Development Engineer at Baidu, where contributions were made as a founding member of Baidu Map. Wei Zhou holds a Master's degree in Computer Software and Theory from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Tianjin University.
