Yuchen Yang

Yuchen Yang is a Senior Data Scientist at SeaMoney and Shopee since October 2022, leading a risk modeling sub-team and developing machine learning models for credit risk in Thailand. Previously, Yuchen worked at SAP as a Data Scientist, focusing on a BERT-base NLP model for financial news event extraction, and at Schlumberger as a New Product Development Engineer. Yuchen's early career involved research at Temasek Laboratories @NUS as an Associate Scientist in fluid dynamics. Yuchen holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, along with experience from a student exchange program at the University of Stuttgart.
