Pedro José Pereira Vieito

Pedro José Pereira Vieito has a diverse work experience in data engineering and architecture. Pedro José currently works at ShopFully as a Data Architect Lead, where they are responsible for developing a unified data platform and integrating various data stack technologies. Prior to that, they worked at Tiendeo as a Data Engineer and later as a Data Tech Lead. In these roles, they were involved in designing and automating ETL pipelines, implementing infrastructure for data analysis, and migrating data processes. Additionally, Pedro has experience as the owner and developer of their own company, PVIEITO.

Pedro José Pereira Vieito obtained a Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2015 to 2017. Pedro José then conducted their Master's Thesis Research on Machine Learning at the Microelectronics Group Laboratory in Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna in 2017. Prior to that, Pedro completed their undergraduate degree, Grao en Enxeñería en Electrónica Industrial e Automática, at the Universidade de Vigo from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, Pedro has obtained several certifications, including MATLAB – Signal Processing Onramp from MathWorks in 2020, Applied Machine Learning to Solve Real Problems from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2019, Software Security from Coursera Course Certificates in 2015, Cryptography I from Coursera in 2014, and the First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge in 2011.
