Philippe Desjardins has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Philippe is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Shopicar, a position they have held since June 2021. Before this, they worked as the Director of M&A/Corporate Development at Mews from August 2019 to June 2021. Prior to that, they owned and served as the President of Auto Desjardins, which was later acquired, from October 2018 to June 2021. Philippe also worked at Valsoft Corporation, where they served as the Head of M&A for Valsoft Travel & Leisure from January 2018 to July 2019. Before that, they were involved in mergers and acquisitions as part of a newly formed subsidiary of Valsoft. Philippe co-founded Entreprise Tryper Inc in March 2011 and served as a co-founder until February 2013.

Philippe Desjardins attended Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf and obtained a Diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC) in Sciences humaines. Philippe then continued their education at Concordia University, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with a focus on Finance. In addition to their degrees, Philippe Desjardins also obtained a certification from the CFA Institute by passing the CFA Level 1 exam in June 2014.
