Amy Gomez

Amy Gomez is a highly experienced technology professional with a robust background in software development and leadership roles. Currently serving as Tech Lead for Shopify Payments and previously as Dev Manager and Senior Software Developer at Shopify Shipping since October 2021, Amy has also held positions as a Senior Backend Developer at Hivestack and Software Engineer at Wrk. Early career experiences include full-stack development at Bewave Technologies and research and teaching roles at the University of Havana, where responsibilities encompassed computer architecture, artificial intelligence, and operating systems. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Havana, with expertise in a diverse tech stack including Python, Django, and Go.
