Douglas Cuzner

Douglas Cuzner is a seasoned professional currently serving as a Merchant Lending Credit Analyst and Team Lead at Shopify since October 2019. With a focus on people leadership, Douglas manages a team of frontline customer support personnel, driving merchant satisfaction through coaching and performance management. Previously, Douglas held roles including Merchant Lending Credit Lead, where leadership of the underwriting team was paramount, and Support Lead, overseeing multiple countries and coaching up to 50 individuals. Prior experience includes support positions with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, as well as operations management at Repable. Douglas holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Nipissing University and is pursuing an Executive MBA at the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University.
