Jack Albers

Jack Albers is an experienced legal professional with a robust background in product and regulatory matters. Currently serving as Director, Associate General Counsel for Product & Compliance at Shopify since June 2022, Albers has previously held significant roles at notable companies, including Senior Counsel at Marqeta, Inc., and Associate General Counsel at Facebook, where responsibilities spanned product and payments. Albers began a career in law as an Associate Attorney at Cole-Frieman & Mallon LLP after earning a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, complemented by a B.A. in Foreign Affairs and Political Science from the University of Virginia.
