Jean-Frédéric Fortier is an accomplished front-end and UX developer with extensive experience in the web development industry. Currently serving as a Staff Front-End Developer and Staff UX Developer at Shopify since April 2016, Jean-Frédéric has also held various leadership roles, including Front-End Developer Lead and Senior Front-End Developer. Prior to Shopify, Jean-Frédéric worked at Plank from April 2011 to March 2016, focusing on front-end development, user experience engineering, and technical leadership. Earlier experience at Twist Image (acquired by WPP) from March 2004 to April 2011 included significant contributions to website development, team management, and establishing best practices. Jean-Frédéric holds a qualification in Google Analytics and has a background in web analytics from Google. Education was completed at Edouard-Montpetit College from 2000 to 2004.
