Jenny S.

Jenny S. is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in Ruby and Rails infrastructure, currently serving as a Senior Developer at Shopify since August 2018. Jenny's career at Shopify began as an intern, progressing from Software Developer Intern to Developer roles, and participating in the innovative Dev Degree program, which facilitated skill development in a real-world environment. Prior to Shopify, Jenny co-founded SitterNextDoor Inc., a modern babysitting platform launched in 2016, and gained customer service experience as a Sales Advisor at both Club Demonstration Services and PWD - Professional Warehouse Demonstrations. Jenny holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Honours from Carleton University, complemented by a minor in Biology.
