Marshal Turner

Marshal Turner is a Senior Designer at Shopify since November 2025, bringing extensive experience from previous roles as a Designer at Instrument, where notable clients included Nike, Google, Microsoft, Shopify, Lego, Dropbox, and Epic Games. Prior to that, Marshal worked as a Jr. Designer at Studio Two Three, managing studio space and assisting artists, and as a freelance designer for various clients such as SYLVAIN and the University of Virginia. As a co-founder of Mashaden Creative, valuable expertise in UX/UI platform design, branding, and insights-driven design solutions was developed. Marshal's early career included positions such as a UX Intern at The Carriage House and a Production & Design Intern at Ink Monstr™ Graphics & Wraps. Academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Experience Design from VCU Brandcenter and a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication with a focus on Creative Advertising from Virginia Commonwealth University.
