Matt Hryhorsky

Matt Hryhorsky is an experienced product designer and entrepreneur with a robust background in user experience and design. Currently serving as a Sr. Staff Product Designer at Shopify since May 2023, Matt focuses on simplifying sales tax for merchants and enhancing shipping experiences by integrating delivery promise partners like Amazon Prime. As a Co-Founder of The Golf Studio, Matt is implementing an automated premium golf simulator and practice facility. Matt has a significant history at Filament Creative Inc., where leadership spanned 12 years, guiding a team to create impactful products for a diverse clientele. Additionally, Matt co-founded Merch App, a software solution aimed at aiding touring musicians with inventory management. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Commerce in Information Technology Management from Ryerson University. Matt is also an accomplished speaker and panelist, sharing insights on human-centered design at various conferences and workshops.
