Niall O'Brien

Niall O'Brien serves as the Director of Revenue Operations at Shopify since January 2022, overseeing the management and optimization of resources and processes in the revenue cycle across the EMEA region. Prior to this role, Niall held several key positions at Veritas Technologies LLC from June 2015 to December 2021, including Senior Director of Operations for EMEA and APJ, where responsibilities encompassed supporting sales leadership in a $925M business and managing a team of operational specialists across seven countries. Previous experience includes roles at Symantec, where Niall led sales operations during the separation from Veritas, and at Dell, where leadership roles involved managing sales teams and driving significant revenue growth in the EMEA market. Niall began a career in sales at Partners Corp in the late 1990s and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Galway and an International Diploma in Hotel Management from Shannon College of Hotel Management.
