Ryan Crumley

Ryan Crumley is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Shopify since December 2023, Ryan previously held the same title at Atlassian from February 2017 to November 2023. Earlier roles include Director of Engineering at Waldo Photos and Director of Software Development at Nuve, Inc. Ryan began the career at PTC, progressing from Software Consultant to Labs Team Lead, and has contributed to various companies as a Contract Software Developer and Consultant. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Computer Science, Ryan has a proven track record of implementing innovative solutions and enhancing technology infrastructures across multiple organizations.
