Abishai Omari

Abishai Omari has worked in the IT industry since 2011. Abishai began their career at the Commission for the Implementation of the Constitution as an IT Specialist, where they developed and maintained the company website in Drupal CMS and developed a tool in Java Server Faces. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as an IT Consultant, helping small and medium enterprises set up and manage their IT infrastructure. In 2018, they joined Andela as a Software Engineer, where they were involved in internal projects. In 2019, they joined Voyage Control as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, where they led the tech debt team and worked on the frontend and backend. In 2020, they joined inSupply Health as a Technical Team Lead, where they provided the interface between stakeholders and developers. Currently, they are the Director Of Engineering at SOKO, where they are responsible for the VRP used to manage the distribution of work to team of artisans.

Abishai Omari obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology between 2008 and 2011.
