Charles McLaughlin has a diverse work experience spanning various engineering roles. Charles started their career at UC Davis as a Systems Administrator from 2003 to 2008. Charles then joined Atlassian as a Systems Engineer and worked there from 2008 to 2013. In 2014, they joined Nextdoor, Inc. as a DevOps Engineer and remained with the company until 2015. Charles then transitioned to ShopStyle, where they held multiple positions, including Sr. Engineering Manager - DevOps from 2015 to 2018, Director of Engineering - DevOps from 2018 to 2022, and finally Sr. Director of Engineering - Platform from January 2022 until the present time.
Charles McLaughlin attended the University of California, Davis from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Computer Science.
