Michal Novak

Michal Novak has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. From 2017 to the present, they have been working at Shoptet as a Frontend Solution Architect. In this role, they are responsible for implementing new features efficiently for a platform with 30k instances, consulting on premium use cases, and occasionally leading a new tech team. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Frontend Developer at Shoptet from September 2017 to May 2021. Before joining Shoptet, Michal was self-employed as a freelance web developer under their own company, michal.works, starting from January 2004. Michal has significant experience in e-commerce, focusing on component-based complex systems and delivering over 250 websites. Additionally, they founded and served as the CEO of Menstyle.cz from February 2009 to December 2019. Menstyle.cz is an online magazine that aimed to help Czech boys grow into great men.

Michal Novak obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management Informatics from Czech Technical University in Prague. Michal attended this institution from 2006 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Corporate Finance and Business from Brno University of Technology, studying there from 2009 to 2011.
