Pedro Rojas Gavidia

Pedro Rojas Gavidia has extensive experience as a software engineer, specializing in backend development. Pedro has worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Shopventory and Zipdev since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Move to the BIT as a Senior Software Engineer from 2020 to 2021, where they served as the Backend Lead Developer. Pedro also worked at FAB Armadillo SL. as a Senior Software Engineer from 2018 to 2020, where they served as a solutions architect and software developer for a private crypto currencies hedge fund. Pedro also has experience as a Web Application Developer at Turpial Development in 2017, where they worked with various technologies such as Python, Django, Ruby on Rails, Node, and more. Pedro has also held roles as a Project Engineer at Ingeniería y Suministros Promaco in 2016, and as a Junior Mechanical Engineer at Fundación Instituto de Ingeniería in 2014. Additionally, Pedro has experience in the business and entrepreneurship field, having served as Vice President of Reto Mantra at Grupo Mantra from 2015 to 2016, where they were part of the executive committee, and as a Business Specialist at Grupo Mantra from 2014 to 2015. Pedro Rojas Gavidia completed their high school education and obtained a High School Diploma from U.E. Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola between 1994 and 2007. Pedro then pursued higher education at Universidad Simón Bolívar, where they obtained an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Pedro also attended IESA from 2015 to 2016 and received a Diplomat in Organizational Leadership. In 2016, they further enhanced their skills by attending a web development Bootcamp at Academia Hack.
