John Hennegan

John is a Founding Partner of Shore Capital, a microcap private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10 million of EBITDA. John is primarily responsible for the sourcing and evaluation of healthcare investment opportunities and operating executives. Additionally, John serves as Chairman of Behavioral Innovations, BrightView, Southern Orthodontic Partners, Northeast Health Services, Column Health, and Tandem where he actively works with management to identify and implement new growth initiatives. John previously served as Chairman of Florida Autism Center. He is a Director for Golden Bear Physical Therapy, Point C, and Tandem as well as a past Director of ClearPath Diagnostics, Fast Pace Urgent Care and The Stepping Stones Group.

Prior to founding Shore, John worked at Henry Crown & Company, the private investing firm for the Crown family of Chicago. While at Henry Crown, John completed the acquisition of Formax (now part of Provisur Technologies) and worked with management to identify and pursue multiple add-on acquisitions. Prior to joining Henry Crown, John worked in Citigroup's investment banking division in New York and Chicago providing merger and strategic advisory services for companies across a diverse set of industries.

Outside of the office, John is a member of the Shedd Aquarium President's Council and an avid golfer.

John earned his M.B.A. with Distinction from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University where he was an Austin Scholar and received a B.S. with Honors from the University of Illinois.
