Mike Cooper

Mike is a Founding Partner of Shore Capital, a microcap private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10 million of EBITDA. Mike is responsible for all activities of the firm including sourcing, evaluating and enabling the growth of Shore investments. Additionally, Mike maintains lead responsibility for the Women’s Health Group, Mission Veterinary Partners, Southern Veterinary Partners, SpecialDocs, and Golden Bear Physical Therapy investments where he actively works with management to identify and implement new growth initiatives. Mike currently serves as Chairman of Jaffe Sports Medicine, Together Women’s Health, Mission Veterinary Partners, Southern Veterinary Partners, SpecialDocs, and Golden Bear Physical Therapy. Mike also served as past Director of Sirona Infusion, Access I.V., HomeCare I.V., and Michigan Rehabilitation Specialists/Excel Rehab.

Prior to founding Shore, Mike worked as an investment professional at Wind Point Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm. Prior to joining Wind Point, Mike worked at UBS Investment Bank, where he provided mergers and acquisitions advisory services and debt and equity financing for companies across a diverse set of industries including industrials, alternative energy and financial institutions.

Outside of the office, Mike is actively involved in fundraising on behalf of the Nicole Cooper Foundation and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Mike is also a member of the Board of Advisors for University of Detroit Jesuit High School & Academy, his high school alma mater.

Mike received a B.S.B.A., summa cum laude, in Finance and Management from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
