Shore Country Day School
Claudia Ovalle is an experienced educator specializing in Spanish language instruction for young learners. Currently serving as the Lower School Spanish Teacher at Shore Country Day School since September 2017, Claudia previously held a similar role at Harbor Light Montessori School from September 2010 to June 2017, where significant contributions included developing a Spanish Immersion Program for Prek-5th grade. Claudia Ovalle holds a Master of Education in Elementary Education with a concentration in Montessori from Gordon College, along with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Escuela de Administración de Negocios in Bogotá, Colombia, and a Montessori Teacher certification for ages 3-6 from The Montessori Institute – New England.
