Em Dickson, MA MFA, currently serves as the School Librarian at Shore Country Day School since August 2023. With extensive experience in literary services, Em Dickson has held roles as a Cultural Accuracy Reader for Kevin Anderson & Associates and an Authenticity Reader for various Big Five Publishers since 2021, focusing on diverse identities and conditions. Previous positions include After School Library Circulation Assistant and Substitute Teacher at Providence Day School, Freelance Writer for Scholastic, Library Technician at Eldredge Public Library, and various internship roles in publishing and literary agencies. Em Dickson holds a dual MA/MFA in Children's Literature/Writing for Children from Simmons College Graduate Studies and a BA in English/Creative Writing & Psychology/Linguistics from Emory University.
