Jared Williams

Jared Williams is an experienced educator currently serving as an Upper School English and Learning Support teacher at Shore Country Day School since August 2023. Prior to this role, Jared worked at Shady Hill School from August 2017 to July 2022 as the VIII Gradehead, serving as the central subject teacher for Grade VIII. Between August 2013 and July 2017, Jared taught at The Potomac School as an Intermediate School Teacher for 7th Grade History and the Frameworks of Identity course, also coaching Cross Country and Outdoor Track and Field. Earlier, from 2006 to June 2013, Jared taught 6th Grade Humanities and 8th Grade History at Village Community School in NYC, where Jared was instrumental in developing a Social Studies and English curriculum for the 6th Grade. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Teaching from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Richmond.
