John D. Kelly

John is the executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer for Huron, where he oversees the company’s global finance and accounting organization, investor relations, corporate planning, tax, treasury, and the execution of capital deployment and financing strategies. Prior to his appointment as CFO, John most recently served as corporate vice president, chief accounting officer and treasurer for Huron. In that role, he was responsible for the enterprise-wide management of a variety of functions, including corporate finance, financial risk management, global cash management, treasury operations and credit and collections.

Prior to becoming a corporate leader at Huron, John served as a Director in Huron’s Disputes and Investigations practice, where he specialized in complex accounting and financial restatement projects.

John also previously held several positions with Deloitte & Touche’s Assurance and Advisory Services team, culminating in his role as an Audit Senior Manager, serving a number of publicly traded manufacturing and service provider clients.

He received both his Master of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. John is a Certified Public Accountant (Illinois).
