Jordan Karlsruher has a solid work experience in the technology field. Jordan began their career in 2014 as an Instructor at iD Tech Camps, teaching kids programming and technology-related skills. Jordan then worked as an IGM Labbie at RIT, where they maintained the computers and assisted students with their homework.
In 2015, Jordan worked as a Game Design Intern at Quill.org, developing educational games and implementing front-end functionality using AngularJS, HTML, and CSS. Jordan also used Firebase to connect players and facilitate interaction.
Jordan then joined RIT MAGIC Center in 2016 as a Game Programmer, where they utilized Unity game engine to create educational games targeting the Android platform. Jordan worked in a medium-sized team and developed functional prototypes for investor review.
Later in 2016, Jordan worked as a Web Developer Co-op at Ahold USA, where they collaborated with experienced developers and peers to create attractive user interfaces and functionality for mobile web apps using AngularJS, HTML, and CSS.
From 2016 to 2018, Jordan served as a Senior Software Developer at Retail Business Services. In this role, they played a crucial part in delivering customer-facing experiences for both iOS and Android using React Native and Redux. Jordan worked in an Agile environment and implemented cutting-edge technologies to differentiate the company from competitors.
Currently, Jordan works as a Senior Software Engineer at Shorelight Education, where they continue to excel in their technical expertise.
Jordan Karlsruher attended the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2016, where they pursued a degree in Game Design and Development.
