Mike Hand

Co-Founder & Managing Partner at Shoreline Equity Partners

Mike co-founded Shoreline and is the Managing Partner and member of the Investment Committee. He is primarily responsible for evaluating and executing investment transactions as well as managing portfolio companies. Mike has over 20 years of M&A transaction & investment experience and has served on numerous private company boards. Prior to co-founding Shoreline, he co-founded PNC Riverarch Capital and led it through two successful funds. Prior to PNC Riverarch Capital, he worked at two other leading private equity funds, PNC Equity Partners (now Incline Equity Partners) and JF Lehman & Company. Mike started his career as an investment banker focused on M&A at Raymond James & Associates. During high school and college, he co-developed and was a Vice President at Blue Frog Global Technology & Trading, a distributor of specialty chemicals into the U.S. consumer products industry. Mike holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Florida, where he graduated with Highest Honors and was ranked 1st in his class, and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School where he was the David Gill Memorial Fellow and graduated with Beta Gamma Sigma Honors.

Mike, a Jacksonville native, moved backed home in 2016 with his wife, Sarah, and his four boys, Liam, Connor, Brody, and Ronan. Mike enjoys surfing and rock climbing, but spends most of his weekends chauffeuring his boys to various sporting events and is the undisputed family Ping Pong champion.
