Jeff Miro

Jeff Miro serves as the Michigan Ave. Marine Department Head and Operations Manager at Shoreline Sightseeing since May 2014, responsible for scheduling tours, docking assignments, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational regulations for multiple tour boats on the Chicago River and Lake Michigan. Previously, Jeff held roles as T-Boat Operations Manager, overseeing training and safety for T-Boat vessels, and as Captain, ensuring the safety and navigation of water taxis. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Deckhand at Wendella Tours & Cruises and a Chauffeur at Chicago Horse & Carriage, where exceptional care of equine partners was prioritized. Jeff's early career included a role as a Driver/Dispatcher at Night Owl Deliveries. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Northeastern Illinois University and attended Harold Washington College.
