Kaiyuan Liu

Kaiyuan Liu's work experience includes being a Software Engineer at Shoreline.io since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at TigerGraph from December 2020 to January 2023 as a Software Engineer on the Cloud Team, where they developed a JavaScript/Go-based service for customers to use TigerGraph as a platform-as-a-service (PAAS) product. Kaiyuan was mainly responsible for the backend's user/solution management and the daemon software running on virtual machines. Kaiyuan also led a team in implementing monitoring, observability, and SRE into the cloud product. Before that, Kaiyuan was a Software Engineer on the QA Team at TigerGraph from June 2016 to December 2020.

Additionally, they served as a Summer Intern at the New York State Department of Health in 2014, 2013, and 2012, and as a Summer Intern at ABB in 2011.

Kaiyuan Liu completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Cornell University from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cornell University between 2012 and 2015. Before attending Cornell University, Kaiyuan Liu studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Stony Brook University from 2010 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner in March 2019, the Amazon Web Services DevOps Engineer - Professional in January 2020, and the Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate in August 2019.
