Tim Crowder has extensive work experience in various technical roles. Tim started their career at Knowledge Adventure as a Lead Programmer in 1995 and worked there until 2000. Tim then joined Fulcrum Microsystems as a Senior Engineer in 2001 and later moved to Evolution Robotics as a Senior Engineer in 2002.
In 2004, Tim joined Yahoo Inc as a Sr Technical Yahoo where they focused on writing high-performance, scalable, and mission-critical components and systems. Tim played a key role in driving a high-performance database successfully through the OpenSource process. Tim worked at Yahoo for over 12 years until 2016.
After leaving Yahoo, Tim joined OpenX as a Staff Engineer in 2016. In this role, they worked on creating algorithms for the Identity Graph and developed a microservice for audience size calculations. Tim also productionized a Look-a-like audience system. Tim stayed with OpenX until 2020.
In 2018, Tim worked as a Technical Consultant for a Stealth Startup where they designed and deployed Ethereum/Solidity Smart Contracts and developed tools for secure and auditable redemption keys.
Currently, Tim is employed at Shoreline.io as a Staff Engineer, starting in July 2020.
Tim Crowder attended Caltech from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering & Applied Science. Prior to their time at Caltech, Tim attended Klamath Union High School, although specific dates and details about their education at this institution are not available.
