Steve Shanks has over 20 years of development, design, and construction management experience in the commercial building sector. Steve started their career at Thornton Tomasetti as a Project Engineer in 2001, where they worked on notable projects such as the ABN AMRO Plaza tower and the Wrigley Building renovation. In 2007, they joined SKS Partners as a Vice President and was responsible for managing the design and entitlement process for projects like 181 Fremont, the McClintock Building, 270 Brannan, and Oyster Point. Currently, they are the Head of Development at Shorenstein Realty Services, a position they have held since 2020.
Steve Shanks earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Structural (Civil) Engineering from Northwestern University between 1995 and 1999.
